Game Notes For Friday @ Detroit

*The White Sox are 37-19 vs. the Tigers in the last three seasons. *The Sox have hit 120 HRs vs. the Tigers in the last four years, more than any other opponent vs. another team. *The Tigers stole 20 bases against the White Sox last year and were caught only once. *Placido Polanco hit .350 with 2 strikes last year, the highest average in baseball under those conditions since Tony Gwynn was a .358 hitter with two strikes in 1997.
