Game Notes For Friday vs. Birds

* Baltimore and Chicago split a two-game series in Baltimore earlier this month. * More than half of the Orioles’ 13 wins have come by a single run (7-1 in 1-run games). Their seven one-run wins are the most in baseball. * The White Sox are 10-1 when holding their opponents to four or fewer runs. * Despite having the lowest batting average in the American League, the White Sox are leading the league in runs scored per game with 5.43. * Nick Markakis has drawn 19 walks on the year, most in the American League. * Joe Crede is tied for the American League lead with 21 RBI (tied with Josh Hamilton – Tex) and had the game-winning RBI off Joba Chamberlain last night.
