Game Notes For Friday vs. The Cubbies

*It's a good baseball year in Illinois where the team winning % leads all baseball at .586. Florida with the Rays and Marlins is 2nd at .558. *The Cubs current six-game winning streak over the Sox is the longest in the interleague history between the two teams. *Since May 1, the Cubs (.815) and the White Sox (.773) have the two highest home winning percentages in baseball. *Both teams are great from the 7th inning on. The Sox lead MLB with a +52 run differential from the 7th on and the Cubs are 2nd at +43. *Aramis Ramirez hit four home runs versus the White Sox last weekend at Wrigley Field. No Cubs’ player prior to Ramirez had ever hit four home runs in a single season versus the White Sox, let alone one series. *Jose Contreras has lost his last 3 starts, but his 3.96 ERA is still way down from last year's 5.57.
