Game Notes For Friday vs. Twins

* The White Sox are just 12-11 at home against the Twins since the beginning of the 2006 season. * Minnesota has registered 10+ hits in 27 games this season (20-7 in those contests), tied with Toronto for the third- most games among AL teams. * Javier Vazquez has pitched at least 5.0 innings in each of his last 44 starts, the second-longest active streak in the majors (Aaron Cook - 50). * Rookie Alexei Ramirez is hitting .417 (10-for-24) with six RBI and five extra-base hits over his last six games. * Nick Blackburn boasts a 1.13 ERA in the first two innings of a game this season. Blackburn has an ERA of 4.33 in the third inning and beyond. * Carlos Gomez’s 17 stolen bases are the most by a Twin through the team’s first 60 games since Chuck Knoblauch recorded 28 stolen bases through the Twins’ first 60 games in 1997.
