That trip home from Los Angeles seems to get longer every year. One thing I was thinking about with the travel is how bad the Seattle Mariners have it. Their shortest trip is probably about 2 1/2 hours and virtually every off day is interrupted by a long trip. That really wears on a team and they are at a geographic disadvantage.
The Sox hit the ball well last weekend at Wrigley but needed the timely hit. The home series should bring out their bats in a big way.
