Game Notes For Friday vs. KC

* Chicago has won five of its first six games against Kansas City this season. * The White Sox are leading the A.L. with 129 home runs. * Mike Aviles is batting .438 (14-for-32) with six RBI over his current seven-game hitting streak. At .310 on the season, Aviles is on pace to have the third-highest batting average by a rookie in franchise history (min. 145 PA). * Zach Greinke is 2-1 with a 2.84 ERA over his last six starts. In his last appearance against the White Sox, he allowed just one run in seven innings, but got a no decision. * Alexei Ramirez is 6-for-11 with three runs scored in his last two games. * Mark Buehrle’s 16 career wins against the Royals are his second-most versus any team (Minnesota – 21).
