* The White Sox won two out of three games when the Angels visited Chicago in May, but the Angles hold the lead in the season series 4-3.
* The White Sox have won only two of their last seven games, and they have been outscored 45-16 in those seven games.
* The Angels’ offense has been much more potent in the second half, averaging 5.39 runs per game. Before the All-Stat Break, the Angels averaged 4.31 runs per game.
* Mark Buehrle is 1-5 in his career against the Angels, his lowest winning percentage against any opponent (min. two starts against).
* Jim Thome is one home run away from his 12th 30-home run season. Thome would be the third White Sox to reach 30 home runs this season, making this the third time in White Sox history three or more players hit 30+ home runs (2004, 2006).
* Mark Teixeira has scored a run in each of the Angels’ last seven games.

As a native Clevelander and DIE-HARD Indians fan I am thoroughly disgusted with the way you guys denigrate my hometown. I get that you're just trying to be funny when you refer to the Sox as "The Good Guys" and their opponents as "The Bad Guys". But when you refer to my city as "The Mistake on the Lake" an putdown everything I love about Cleveland than I've had enough! Maybe I should start a website entirely devoted to putting down the city of Chicago, how would that sit with your fans? Enough is enough, trying to be entertaining is one thing, but like my mother taught me growing up, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all"!
