Game Notes For Tuesday @ Twins

* The White Sox lead the season series, 8-7. * Chicago, just 6-8 over its last 14 games, will clinch at least a tie of the AL Central crown by taking two of the three games in this series. * The Twins have lost six of their last eight games and 18 of their last 28 contests overall. * Javier Vazquez is 5-0 with a 3.19 ERA in seven starts against the Twins since the start of the 2007 season. * Scott Baker has a 7.99 career ERA against the White Sox, his highest against any team in baseball. * Jermaine Dye hasn’t hit a home run since August 29. His streak of 87 consecutive plate appearances without a homer is his longest since joining the White Sox in 2004. * Justin Morneau has 34 RBI over his last 24 home games. He has six home runs against Javier Vazquez, his most against any pitcher throughout his career.
