Game Notes For Game 4 vs. Rays

* After beating the Rays on Sunday, the White Sox improved to 12-3 in the postseason since 2005. They are 6-1 at Comiskey Park over that span. * The White Sox have beaten the Rays in 15 of their last 21 meetings at Comiskey Park, dating to August 24, 2002. Chicago has won all six of the games that were decided by one run. * Despite Sunday’s loss, the Rays are still 7-2 against the White Sox since May 30. Tampa Bay has held the Sox to a .188 (15-for-80) average with runners in scoring position over that span. * Andy Sonnanstine is 1-0 with a 2.96 ERA in four career starts against the White Sox. He’s struck out 14 while issuing just two walks and two home runs over 27.1 innings. Sonnanstine was winless in his last seven starts of the regular season, going 0-3 with a 4.39 ERA. * Gavin Floyd has never faced the Rays in his career. He was 10-3 at Comiskey Park this season, the highest home winning percentage (.769) by a White Sox righthander since Lamarr Hoyt went 13-3 (.813) in 1982 (minimum 10 home decisions). * Catchers are the leading hitters for both of these teams in the ALDS. A.J. Pierzynski paces the White Sox with a .500 average (5-for-10), while Dioner Navarro leads the Rays with a .455 mark (5-for-11). * Paul Konerko has hit at least one home run in each of his last four postseason series. His 16 RBI match his 16 hits in 18 career postseason games. * After going 3-for-25 (.120) with a .160 slugging percentage against the White Sox in the regular season, Evan Longoria is 4-for-10 (.400) with a 1.000 slugging percentage in the ALDS.
