For Openers
Jim Thome's homer won it, but the Sox bullpen really saved the day yesterday. Clayton Richard was outstanding and he has a chance to be an excellent major league pitcher.
Josh Fields had a big game. He made a real athletic play at third, came up with a clutch RBI single with two outs, then capped it off with a bunt in the eighth inning.
Great team effort and let's hope it carries on each day this year.

Hawk, you make a big deal about a 22 year old kid out there tryin to pitch and he threw 4 pitches up and in. For gods sake he is 22 im sure he is was a little nervous and then you have the nerve to say for the hitter to knock him off the mound and you also say that the sox pitcher should throw one up and in for pay back. You are a JOKE, your suppose to be a professional and you say that kind of stuff. Thats ridiculous.

Get the tears out of your eyes. I can't stand to hear winers, and "homer" winers are worse. Any pitcher that is no where close to the plate with their pitch and misses on the side of the batter needs to be warned regardless of the game situation.
