Game Notes For Wednesday @ Tigers

* The White Sox boast a 7-3-3 series record vs. the Tigers at Comerica Park over the previous four seasons and are guaranteed another win or tie from this one. They have the American League's best record at Comerica over the past four years. *The Sox bullpen hasn't allowed a run in the past three games. * Curtis Granderson began the season by hitting in his first six games, but has been shut down the last two contests, going 0-for-9 with three strikeouts. *Placido Polanco (16) and Carlos Guillen (14) have the most lifetime hits allowed by Jose Contreras. Polanco has a 12-game hitting streak against the White Sox.

Sorry guys, not a big Sox fan, although I do catch games on WGN. I AM a HUGE Steve Stone fan, and it's great to hear you again, Steve (Mr. Stone.) The only reason I watched Cubs game is for your insight. Love you, too, Hawk. Have a great season, gentlemen.
