Game Notes For Tuesday @ Baltimore

* The White Sox are 61-42 (.592) in Baltimore since 1987, Chicago’s best road winning percentage against any American League opponent over that span.
* The White Sox won their last two games at Tampa Bay to take that series, three games to one. Chicago improved to 7-5, the first time this season they’ve moved two games over .500.
* The Orioles have lost five in a row to dip below .500 (6-7) for the first time in 2009. They surrendered 12 runs on Monday, the fifth time this season they’ve allowed at least 10.
* Carlos Quentin’s .814 slugging percentage through 12 team games is the third-highest mark by any White Sox hitter at this point of the season since 1954 (minimum 40 PA).
* Nick Markakis has reached base in each of his last 22 games, the longest active streak among current American Leaguers. He’s batting .395 against righthanded pitching this year, as compared to .167 versus lefthanders.
* Brian Roberts has scored at least one run in all six Oriole wins this season. He’s hit .519 (14-for-27) in Baltimore’s victories, collecting at least two hits in five of the six wins.
