One Fine Day

People talk about the Sox lack of offense, but I have faith they will come around. Everything in baseball is contagious, and that works both ways with hitting where when you're in a funk it can spread, but just as quickly, once somebody gets hot, it seems like more guys do. With starting pitching, a good performance turns into a "top you" type of mentality for the other starters.

We'll be fine. This is a good ballclub and this current slump will run its course.

Hello Hawk: Before each game you always mention what players you and the crew have chosen for "Picks to Click", but I have never heard you given an explanation of exactly what this means. Are you chosing who you think will be Player of the Game? I think so, but am not sure. Please put my mind at rest so I can stop wondering about this. Love your commentary and think you and Stoney are a perfect team.

Hawk -- You still ranting about ump's warning Jenks Saturday in the 9th? Bobby admits he threw it behind Kinsler. Waiting to hear you what you have to say now -- after you basically called the ump a hack. Face it, homers like you have no cred.

Hello Hawk: How do you explain the short appearance of Gobble last night, the Sun Times states he is taking Contrarus place, and Buehrle is pitching tonight while the White Sox site shows Richard pitching. What's happening? Your confidence is encouraging, but I wonder if it isn't a little misplaced at this time!
