Swindal still in line? Don't know

Steve Swindal just made a surprise visit in the press box, saying he was "embarrassed" by his arrest last week on a DUI charge. The Boss' son-in-law insisted he has George Steinbrenner's support on a personal level, but he did not know whether he remains in line to succeed Steinbrenner. "That would be speculation," Swindal said.

Dear George,

Both of my parents have been gone for years now and I AM available for adoption in case you might have a need for a new heir to run the Yanks!

Send me to Tampa to report on the Yanks,at least I would earn my salary.

Rick, I have no doubt that if given the opportunity, you will run the Yankees into the ground.

Igawa Meeting Matsui For The First Time

The Article is in Japanese. You have to translate the article to english in order to read it.
Here's small piece from the article translated to english

Matsui to Igawa (Japanese)

Keys to success in MLB/NY:
1) Don't rush yourself: SP will go on until the end of March.
2) Recognize the difference in the size of the strike zone between JPB and MLB
3) Try not to avoid the NY media and their often-harsh questions

Side Notes: They had never talked face-to-face, but Igawa said Matsui bought him an ice-cream when I gawa was a rookie. Matsui went, "Did I?"
Eric,
You know you don't want "Machete" Rick running the Yankees because the first thing he will do is get rid of your boy Andy Phillips.
I suspect the second thing Rick would do is bring back Bernie, right Rick?

The first thing I would do is trade Phillips for Bubba Crosby. Well, wait, nobody in their right mind would give up Bubba for Phillips.

Then I would sign Bernie. And finally, I would trade Pavano and A-Rod to the Cubs for their 3B (Ramierez) and Ted Lilly.

Now were talking baseball in the Bronx.

10 runs in one inning Ted Lilly? I would like to see what Pavano can do first.

Rick-

Do you think Ted Lilly is worth anyone with a pulse? I think Lilly is garbage and his numbers prove it. The only reason why he got the money he did is that pitching cannot be found in baseball at the moment. He is a lefty so it is an added bonus. Remember this is the same free agent class where Jeff Weaver got 8 million dollars.

Next you want Bubba for Phillips? I always liked Bubba but what is your reasons for having 7 outfielders since you would like Bernie back as well?

I am all for A-Rod and Pavano gone. I like those moves along with Ramirez here. Everything else does not make sense to me.

Eric: I'm glad your back ! Rick needs tethering ! Bubba Crosby ? The Mother ship is headed back to Alpha Centauri, all aboard !....Talkin' 'bout Bubba we've reached the bottom of the barrel ! Isn't he the 5th outfielder on that great Cinncinati Reds team?

dear george what did you do with yor triple a all star pitcher SAM MARSONEK
