There was a rumor floating around that Roger Clemens planned to attend tonight's game. Apparently, that is not the case. I'll let you know if that changes. Billy Crystal, on the other hand, is here. Clemens is on track to pitch Wednesday for Trenton. He may or may not need one more minor league start after that.

did anybody notice bobby abreau looked good at the plate last night? he got 2 hits and a walk and the only out he made was hit real hard to center. i hope this is the start of a hot streak!!!

I know this may sound stupid and even treasonous but there is something about this 10-behind situation that I almost get a kick out of.
I mean I hated getting to this point but right now it feels like the WS of '96, like there's this tremendous dramatic climb ahead and we're just at the outset of a breath-taking adventure.

I've been delusional damn near the whole season. I empathize that because we are so far back it's kind of a make or break from here on...I felt an inordinate amount of excitement before the mets series as well, and not because it was the mets...Because what it would mean to the team's morale and how it would potentially affect RIGHT NOW-This 3 game set against the only other threat to our post season aspirations.
JUDGEMENT DAY HAS ARRIVED...
