Nice article on Josh Pettitte's accident, Kat. I have to admit I'm surprised those kids didn't have only the best safety gear as I'm sure Andy can afford it. I would bet the house that those kids have helmets and other safety gear now.
One question I wonder about now is did Andy or Laura mention if Josh has a fear of ATV's now or is he riding them again? A lot of people decide they will never ride again after an accident.
I won't get too excited about the BP today, I'm just hoping I don't hear about any injuries. I read that Girardi has the players running a whole lot and I am waiting for someone to get hurt and blame all the running. Thank goodness Sheffield isn't here.
Jim, the kids did have helmets. Laura said Josh just wasn't wearing his. It's one of those things -- kids don't always listen to their parents. I remember my mom telling me to wear a bike helmet, and I would take it off as soon as I was out of her sight.
Kat,
I guess they learned that lesson the hard way huh? Thanks for the follow up.
