After Johnny Damon flied out to rightfield, Derek Jeter was hit by a pitch to reach first. Bobby Abreu singled to rightfield, sending Jeter to third. Alex Rodriguez hit a sacrifice fly RBI to rightfield. Jason Giambi flied out to center to end the inning.
