If you want to know why sports writers should write and not talk, check out a new video our old pal Jim Baumbach and I shot this week. Click on "sports" and then scroll over to the right until you see the headline "Ask Anthony." If you find it, I have a question: what the heck is going on with my shirt?

It's not that bad.
Embrace the multi-media technology and run with it.
Just do the running off camera.
I think the majority of people like to read their sports in the newspaper and over the Internet, more so than seeing people talk about sports on TV or on the Internet.
Rieber,
Are you sure you didn't steal Derek Jeter's mitt and let Ruben Rivera take the fall for it? I think that is what was hidden in your shirt during your video shoot. Just give it back and nobody will ask any questions!
Nice job on the video, you two will get more comfortable as you do them more often. Baumbach can come to my kids' school any time and read to them, they are learning how to read with expression and Jim has that part mastered!
Keep it fun guys!
1. Go ahead and talk -- there's less self-editing so we *hear* things we wouldn't *see* (for example, you and Jim might not have dwelt on Willie's "arrogance" in print).
2. Shirt: new, straight from the store and unlaundered, so it still has that sizing in it? or starched?
Just heard update on the FAN.......only one thing to say.........WHAT A FREAKIN JIKE THAT PITCHING STAFF IS....Hahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!
