Pettitte pitching vs. Paul Byrd

Well, Andy Pettitte pitched awfully well the last time the Yankees were in Cleveland. They didn't win that game -- the memorable "bug game"/Game 2 ALDS loss. But it wasn't through any fault of his.
Hopefully the Yankees are more awake than I am after their late night/early morning flight. Otherwise, Pettitte won't stand much chance.

Pettitte V Byrd, Interesting combo given that both have admitted to using HGH but Pettitte takes the heat while Byrd supposedly had a perscription. Should Giambi just have paid a doctor a little out of his $20M/year for a steroid perscription? How do fans and the media not come down as hard on Byrd?

Kat,

ESPN is reporting that Bruney is done for the season - can you confirm that?

Because as you said...he had a prescription. There is no prescription for anabolic steroid injections. There is no medical reason for injecting them period. Also doctors that write bogus prescriptions have a tendency to end up in jail and losing their medical licenses.
