Jason Giambi did not make the All-Star team, losing out in the final vote to Evan Longoria (as well as Jermaine Dye). Giambi congratulated Longoria, saying: "He's a great playerr, he plays hard, he definitely deserves it." Giambi thanked fans for supporting him and for the "Support the 'Stache" campaign.
Jose Molina is catching for the sixth straight game. Jorge Posada is scheduled to catch tomorrow, but this seems to be eating at him. Joe Girardi, meanwhile, said Posada's arm/shoulder has improved significantly in the last week.
