Knicks can probably forget about Anthony Carter, too

Nuggets free-agent Anthony Carter, who would be a good short-term fix at point guard for the Knicks, tells the Rocky Mountain News that New York is one of several teams that have expressed interest. But the Knicks can probably forget that one; Carter also says he's looking for a three- or four-year deal. The cap-strapped Knicks prefer to go the two-year route on a mid-level deal.
