Hey fight fans, we are a few minutes away from the Kermit Cintron-Antonio Margarito bash at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.
A few side notes: Former Chicago Cub slugger Sammy Sosa is in the house. Mets centerfielder Carlos Beltran is also in the house. For those watching on TV, he's in the first row on the south side of the arena. There's nothing wrong having a night out, but considering the Mets have a 1:10 game tomorrow, when is he going to sleep? Fight nights (and after parties) generally run into the early hours of the morning.
Michael Buffer, the world famous ring announcer who made Let's Get Ready to Rumble a household phrase, is battling throat cancer and won't be in the house tonight. Get better Michael, everyone misses you.
