Predictions: Manny Pacquiao vs. Ricky Hatton

Here are some predictions on the much anticipated Manny Pacquiao-Ricky Hatton fight, tomorrow night, live, on HBO PPV.

Marcus Henry, Newsday: Manny Pacquiao looked great against a bigger fighter in Oscar de la Hoya. But there is a big difference between Hatton and de la Hoya. Hatton is much younger and quicker than de la Hoya at this point in his career. Yes, Hatton struggled against the quickness of Floyd Mayweather Jr., but Pacquiao isn't nearly as fast. I can't see a knockout in this fight, but I do believe Hatton has the power to press Pacquiao. Hatton will win a split decision.

Wallace Matthews, Newsday: I love Pacquiao in this fight, but then again, I loved de la Hoya in the fight against Pacquiao. I just can't see a glorified clubfighter like Hatton beating the fighting machine that pummelled Oscar into retirement. Hatton tries hard and is pretty fast with his hands, but he's basically a straight-ahead fighter who gets hit too much, and unlike other guys who fought a similar style--Dempsey, Frazier, Duran, to name a few of the best - Hatton doesn't have the chin to pull it off. He was wobbled by Juan Lazcano, a journeyman, two fights back, and needed 11 rounds to dispose of feather-fisted Paulie Malignaggi, who basically gave up after three rounds. Hatton's only truly standout performance was against a washed-up Kostya Tszu four years ago, and people went nuts over him, but the easy beating by Floyd Mayweather Jr. I think is more indicative of his true abilities at this level. There's juist no logical reason to pick Hatton on his merits.

Pacquiao, on the other hand, seems to have vastly improved as both a boxer and a puncher as he's moved up in weight, his best performances coming against David Diaz and de la Hoya in weight classes he had never tried before. In some respects, the Oscar KO is a mirage, because de la Hoya turned out to be a shot fighter going in, but that should not detract from Pacquiao's performance, which was probably the most complete of his career. The guy is not a young 30--he's been fighting almost 15 years and was knocked out twice as a bantamweight--and he's fighting almost 50 pounds above the weight he started at (106) so I don't think he will have a particularly long shelf life. But he certainly has enough left to handle Hatton. He'll cut him up before stopping him in eight rounds. Or less.

Jose Moreno, Newsday: Manny Pacquiao has the edge in speed, technique, boxing knowledge and training. Ricky Hatton has size, strength, stronger chin and a referee, Kenny Bayless, who isn't likely to interfere if he tries to impose that size by mauling Pacquiao. The two men have roughly equivalent stamina and willpower. It will come down to Pacquiao's recent surge as a technician and his full repertoire of defensive and offensive skills leading to the dissection of Hatton's brawling style. Pacquiao will win by unanimous decision.

Mike Silver, author of "The Arc of Boxing: The Rise and Decline of the Sweet Science:" Hatton may be on the downgrade and will struggle to make 140 pounds. Nevertheless, this is a very interesting fight and not easy to predict, especially if both men are at their best. Neither man will give ground but Pacquiao can win it if he uses footwork to avoid Hatton's rushes and steps in and out with quick counterpunches, avoids a war of attrition, and keeps a busy jab in Hatton's face. Hatton is very predictable and will fight as he always has--straight ahead with both guns blazing. If the Pac Man chooses to go head-to-head with Hatton he is in for a rough evening. But I think he will fight the smart fight (as Roach will instruct him to) and will win a close 12-round decision.

Brian Doogan, Sunday Times of London: Manny Pacquiao's performance against Oscar De La Hoya was magnificent but De La Hoya was as shot as Freddie Roach, Pacquaio's trainer and De La Hoya's ex-trainer, predicted that he would be. In his most recent meaningful fights against top-notch opponents, I thought he lost in a very close fight against Juan Manuel Marquez and he wasn't at his best in a rematch against Marco Antonio Barrera. If Ricky Hatton can get to him like Marquez did, he could make it difficult for Pacquiao but I see Pacquiao's footwork and hand speed being too much for Hatton. As much as beating that version of De La Hoya was not an accurate barometer of Pacquiao, Hatton's victory over Paulie Malignaggi in his last fight was also illusory, his struggle against Juan Lazcano more indicative of Hatton's inevitable decline because of bad living. His bravery will not be enough in the face of so much precise punching and Pacquiao will win inside eight rounds.

Steve Farhood, Showtime boxing analyst: Pacquiao on points. I anticipate a good action fight. If manny engages inside, he might get beaten. If he fights inside and outside, his speed will be the difference.

Mark La Monica, Newsday: Manny P. with a fifth-round stoppage, followed by Larry Merchant and Jim Lampley running down the street and hugging in Lake Bellagio a la Rocky III.

Mario Gonzalez, Newsday: I think Pacquiao is at his peak coming in to the fight this weekend. His speed and accuracy will put him over the top and he'll cement his spot as the sports pound-for-pound king. Prediction: Pacquiao over Hatton by KO in the 8th.

Ron Ross, boxing author, historian: Ricky will be trying to work his man onto the ropes, keep the fight from the center of the ring. He may even succeed at times, but I think that Pacquiao's rapid fire, no let-up punching will prove too much for the rugged Brit to contain. There may be a bit of blood from the sharp-boned Hatton and a late round TKO on cuts is very possible. Manny by TKO, 9th or 10th round.

Bobby Cassidy, Newsday: I love this fight. I think it's going to be a great fight. I also think, that with all the talk about boxing and defense and technique that we've seen on HBO's 24/7 series, these two guys essentially like to fight. And when the bell rings, they will fight -- not box. Given that scenario, I think Ricky Hatton will be too big and too strong for Manny. He was 106 pounds when he turned pro and 112 when he won his first title. He was brilliant against the bigger Oscar De La Hoya, but the difference here is that Ricky is still in his prime, Oscar was nowhere near it. I think Hatton wins a close decison.

It Won’t be Blinky, Pinky, Inkey, or Clyde
that Gobble Up “Pac man” it will be Ricky!

By: Jason Sardelis
As history and “Rocky” always reminds us, never count out the underdog and Mosley/ Margarito is our latest reminder. As prestigious as Pacquiao’s career is keep that in mind he has three losses mixed in his 53 fights. Two of those fights ended by knockout. Margarito had four, three of those early on in his career. Did any of those show a weakness? Ask Shane!

Pacquiao’s career became front page in 2003 with an 11th round Tko of Marco Antonio Barrera, at 125lbs. His notoriety jumped ten fold when he fought to a draw with Juan Manuel Marquez, who he had on the deck three times in the first round.

In his twelfth fight February, 1996, in his homeland the Philippines, Pacquiao suffered his first loss to Rustico, Torrecampo 14-8-5, 7 Ko’s. The loss was by KO loss in a brawl in which both fighters were trading shots and Torrecampo landed a heavy shot to the face of Pacquiao putting him on the deck. Unable to beat the count Pacquiao was counted out at 1:32 of round three.

His second loss came in 1999, his 28th fight his last fight at 112lbs. Coming in one pound heavy the “Pac Man” lost his WBC world flyweight title to Thailand’s Medgoen “3-K Battery” Singsurat 18-0, 11 Ko’s by third round Ko. Pacquiao trailing 20-18 when Singsurat fighting in a “Hatton style” stalked and backed “Pacman” to the ropes drilling him with a vicious right hand to the body dropping him to the canvas where he remained, prompting referee Jose Guadalupe Garcia to call the fight.

Pacquaio suffered his third loss to Mexican great Erik Morales by unanimous decision 115-113 times three in his first fight at 130lbs. The “Pac Man” put nine straight wins together after his loss to Morales only to revenge the loss stopping Morales in ten then again in three completing their infamous trilogy. The “PacMan” beat Barrera in a return match then Oscar Larios by decision before fighting a tough return fight with Juan Manuel Marquez where he won a tough close split decision after dropping Marquez in the second round.

The Phillipine star added Ko’s of Jorge Solis and David Diaz before stopping the “Golden Boy” Oscar De La Hoya in eight at a career high 145lbs.
What Pacquiao will find meeting Hatton depends on which Ricky Hatton shows up? Will it be Ricky the “Hitman” Hatton who beat Kosta Tszyu in a brutal war in 2005 or the complacent Hatton who beat Juan Lazcano recovering from his loss to Mayweather? My call is for true old fashion war. The old Hatton shows up and the only question, will he have enough?

Hatton must fight this fight with the same intensity as he did Kosta Tszyu. He must use all the tools in his arsenal. He must come on from the opening bell and pressure, pressure pressure! He must move left and start and finish with his left hand. Use that jab in space moving in and don’t move out. Turn him, step around him, tie him up make him work to get space and by all means make the referee break them. Floyd Mayweather Sr. has him moving his head he should use it to keep Pacquiao reaching. Hatton’s hook to the body will be the key. Pacquiao must be aware of it all the time it will eventually give Hatton other opportunities.

Hatton’s biggest tool is his legs his bouncing movement and his leverage. He can use the footwork “Pretty Boy” Floyd used against Zab Judah. Don’t let your hands go until you feel his right foot then hook. Then when it comes, and it will, Hatton needs to land a big right and finish it with his hook. Hatton is the heavier puncher so to neutralize his speed punch when he punches. It should be a war I don’t think Pacquiao will box too long. Hatton may try to box for a while but he will find success being the “Old” Ricky Hatton.

The “Hitman” can do his usual grab on until his opponent grabs then bang with both hands while the “Pac Man holds on. He must rough Pacquiao up inside, push him, bump him, lean on him, use his size and maul him throwing the uppercut inside. Hatton does have some speed he will rip his punches outside then inside eventually breaking down the “PacMan’s” body and gobble him up. Forget about the four ghosts Blinky, Pinky, Inkey, and Clyde its Ricky!

what an analysis! sort of like a pacquiao beating hatton all the way! LOL! david beating goliath hahahah! lets see! thats why i like this fight because its gonna slap the unbelievers using their own doctrines. doubt is the biggest source of excitement there is. when in doubt, play hard. LOL! Im guessing its pacquiao whose gonna bully the bullyer wahahaha! thats the secret roach doesnt wanna divulge so that everybody would think hatton is the stronger fighter! what a nice diversion! let them think theyre bigger and use that against them by surprising them that he is much stronger! i know that and i feel it. pacquiaos gonna squash hatton in his own game!

This will be David Diaz II all over again. The only difference is Hatton a bit more speed in him.
But nonetheless a Hatton will David Diaz like on CRACK. Hatton face will be bloodied into submission. PAC win by KO 9th, if not TKO early stoppage.

maybe pacman loose 3k battery. its just because he is dehidrated to get that weight loss,
i have no idea how big is hatton was,all i can say is,can ricky hatton stands the speed of pac man? i dont think so....
pac man dont stay in one place.he dance toooo much and the speed of pacman can stands more than 12 rounds and never cahnge...he will give hatton a punch and then later on,pac man is on his back already.
its a good fight...hatton will be KO before 9 rounds...go pacman
mabuhay ka.from wellservicer

hatton will fall pretty much the same as how he got koed by mayweather. He'll be coming in at a hundred miles per hour hoping to tag manny with a left jab but unfortunately for him, his defense wont be set. with this, manny will be setting up his nasty left hook to the chin of the unexpectingly hatton. kabooommmm!! hatton hits the canvass and wont beat the ref's count in round 5, cutting the rounds in half of how hatton fell to mayweather..

Bobby Cassidy says Hatton by decision!? If by some insane reason he wins, it'll be by ko. No way he's out pointing the speedster. Pac in 6

i predict that hatton will be KO before 8 rounds by pacman,
hatton is only good in close opponent, pacman knows how to
be good inside the canvas.he will dance and dance and dance
until he find the right time to KO hatton....
mahuhay ka pacman mabuhay philippines.....
proud to be a filipino

First of all, i would like to give thanks to GMA KAPUSO for having this kind of opportunity to give every Filipino a chance to give comments about the Battle of the East and West "Pacquiao vs Hatton".. For me, even if im a Filipino if Hatton is overpower for Pacquiao or he is more better and complete fighter i'd go for Hatton but i saw the every fight of Pacquiao and Hatton! I would probably say that i would go to Pacquiao not because im a Filipino! I'd go for Pacquiao because he is better and very clever, specially in his fighting style now! I would give much credit to Pacquiao, his much faster than Hatton! In power, Pacquiao and Hatton we have no question because we all know their caliber, there both knockout artist! But like i said when you use ur mind in fight you can have a good chance to win it. Pacquiao improved very much in style, mind focused, power and no doubt his speed. While Hatton also had improved but not as much as Pacquiao! Hatton style is what we call a brawler his always in front of you throwing punches again and again but the defense is the question. How can he defense himself when he throws that killer punch? That Pacquiao's advantage, he can counter punch as much as he can! Go in and out is the best tactics for Pacquiao to do in the first 3 to 4 rounds for sure Hatton fight plan will going to be sarcastic! That will be the Pacquiao's time, surely Hatton will get to the canvass like Mayweather Jr. did to him. We can call it "When Pacman eaten Hitman".. Go Manny!!! Godbless.. Thanks again to GMA 7 KAPUSO... Good luck..

Pacquiao is the smaller fighter...that alone I think makes him the underdog in this fight as he always is...Pundits always have him losing but he proves them wrong everytime. He now appears to be the favorite becuase all these pundits are sick and tired of losing thieir credibility. That's why they're taking Pacman's side this time. I think Pacman wins this 5.5/10 vs. Hattons chance of 4.5/10...Almost even and I think Manny's in for a real challenge in Hatton.

SLUMDOG: PACQUIO RULE! HE WILL WIN THIS FIGHT BECAUSE ALL THE FILIPINOS ARE PRAYING FOR HIM. AND I THINK HE HAS THE SKILLS TO WIN THIS FIHGT OVER HATTON NO OFFENSE FOR THOSE WHO BELIEVED THAT HATTON WILL WIN=) PEACE

i've never seen anyone fast enough to avoid pacman's straight left. he did not use this much on his first fight with morales. if this straight left will be used against hitman, he will win by KO. hitman may be stronger but i wonder if he is fast enough to avoid the power punches.

Behind Pacman's losses
1. Loss to Terrecampo. Reason: Young (17y.o.kid) and inexperienced. No "trainer" in the truest sense of the word. Proud (because of his strong left). Offense oriented (practically no defense). Brawler not boxer. Remember he barely finished 6th grade to back his raw strength. A typical poor Filipino boy who wants to earn money to survive.
2. Loss to Medgoen “3-K Battery” Singsurat. Dehydrated (forced to lose 23 lbs. in 30 days and 1 1/2 lbs. in 2 hrs.). He already lost the match before the game for failing the scale (psychologically, he was not prepared as well). No physical discipline: he partied and drank too much for his stature. No "trainer" in the truest sense of the word. Like any poor Filipino boxer (there are hundreds of them) who wants to make it big, he took the risk (risk is nothing for a boxer who got lucky to travel outside the country to box for the first time).
3. Loss to Morales. Legitimate. No excuse (even with the shoe issue).

For Filipinos who followed Pacman's career, it's "officially" 47 wins - 1 loss (Morales) - 2 draws (Sanchez & Marquez) - 2 no contest (Torrecampo & Singsurat)

Hatton: 45 - 1 - 0 - 0
Pacquiao: 47 - 1 - 2 - 2

It will be a close call for this fight. But considering that both are at their peak, Pacquiao may have an edge technically and based from those whom he fought. But if Pacman "blinks his eyes" even just for a second...we will have a new Pound-for-Pound king as he retains his belt and title in the bigger Hatton.

Marcus Henry says "Yes, Hatton struggled against the quickness of Floyd Mayweather Jr., but Pacquiao isn't nearly as fast. I disagree. I've seen and studied Mayweather's fights on the internet on on TV. He is no way as fast, explosive and aggressive as Pacquiao. I really don't think he would be competitive against Pacquiao, if they should fight now or next year. I really thought he lost the fight with Dela Hoya. He is elusive for sure and but does more running then boxing. He broadcasts his round house punches which he rarily throws in combination. When he does it's usually only in twos. One thing in his favor is his ability to take body punches. Dela Hoya often went to the body on target. But mayweather didn't seem fazed one bit. Pacquiao is much faster than Dela Hoya and throws explosive combinations of 5 to 6 straight, powerful punches. Mayweather would be in great danger if he fights backwards when Pacquiao is throwing these punches, very much the way Marquez got knocked down three times in the first round of the first fight. He was going backward.

I think Hatton will be competitive against Pacquiao, because pacaquaio doesn't run.

Sure Pac man will win. TKO by 9th. But what if, just what if Hatton can land just one of those thundering body punches. It's possible it could be closer than you think. Either way, Pacquaio will not leave the ring half as pretty as he did vs. De La Hoya.

weight does not matter.official weigh-in is the qualifying ground for
fighters to match-up.this rule is made for the safety of the fighters
and i believe it is legitimate enough for a good match-up.weight
after the official weigh-in will never be an issue.certain people
make this a big deal and i don't know why.tyson used to beat
people 10 lbs heavier than him.he was then beaten by a quite
lighter holyfield.an excuse is always around after the fight.let us
put it this way.if you lose you lose and that is it.and if you wanted
me to say my point, delahoya did not lose in the ring.he lost it in
training camp.he could have made the weight right but he prefers
to keep up with manny's athleticism.the only way for him to win.
at the end he just couldn't.the same way happened to morales.
nobody could beat the overall strength of manny among
jr.-welter and welterweight.he has got excellent speed,power,
stamina and endurance.his decent boxing, brawling and
swarming ablities compliments a lot to his overall strength.he is
shall we say a complete fighter.we had been fans of other fighters
before manny showed up.it is just hard for some people that their
man has been overshadowed by manny.let us just say let us pick
someone who is not interested in boxing and does not know
someone from boxing.let him be the judge.let us say let him watch
the videos of manny and let him watch the videos for example of
floyd jr. who would you think he will choose.i am now residing
in dubai and among the nationalities here only filipinos like boxing.
a filipino friend of mine who has other non-filipino friends just
happened to watch pacman and his fights.they were all
non-boxing fans except for my friend.they love other sports like
cricket and football.they know what an athltete means.although
they were non-boxing fans they were really amazed by manny's
strength.they could almost not believe the awsome ferocity manny
displays in the ring.now this is an unbiased reaction of people
who understand athleticism and never got other boxers to
influence their judgement.many of micheal jordan's fans never
really got to play basketball but any simple person knows if
someone is really extraordinary.manny is really extraordinary.
he is over and beyond floyd jr.only then some people can't admit
the thought of someone defeating their one and only idol.i still
can't admit the fact that micheal jordan is better than larry bird.
many people hate manny.manny destroyed their man.manny
will destroy floyd after destroying hatton.it is not that manny is
my man.he is just the man.you may be a better boxer than
manny but in the end he will still overpower you even if your bigger
or heavier than him.he is the "mas oyama" of boxing.mas oyama
was never regarded as the best fighter.he is only regarded as the
toughest fighter of all time but still the best fighter is no match
for him.a fight is still a fight and science can only improve you but
your viciousness, your physical quality and how smartly you use it

and this is not a fight of filipinos and britons. i know you
guys are proud but enough already.

Pachaters talk about the Singsurat and torrecampo losses of Pacquiao like they're real experts. I have viewed and analysed those fights many times and am not convinced that Pacquiao really "lost" those fights. While these may sound like excuses, and certainly for the haters even a smoking gun will not be enough evidence for them anyway. In the Torrecampo fight, Manny goes down as the two fighters collide (torrecampo ischarging head on ala Hatton) and falls back and slams his head hard on the canvass from the impact. This is what concusses Pacquiao. Now , Ive always felt that a clash of heads was what threw Manny back. The films are really grainy and are of poor angles and do not lend themselves to really detailed scrutiny. In the Singsurat fight, as posted by someone else previously, Manny had starved himself to try to make weight, failed to make it and from my recollection was also said to have had the"flu" then per reports. Mind you I never heard Manny put up an excuse for these so called losses. Manny had already lost his title, had no real incentive to continue. Look at the fight on youtube. That manny was retreating from the beginning. That Manny telegraphed his punches and was slow! That manny was nowhere near the Manny that you all see today. The Manny you will see in action on Saturday is a Manny who easily made weight, looks ripped , has looked supernaturally fast in training and according to his trainer and conditioning coach is in the best shape of his life. On top of that thebetting odds are are getting worse for Hatton every minute. I hope all the haters out ther would put their money where their mouths are so that I wouldn't have to plunk 270 dollars to win 100!

paquioa wins via 1st round TKO!!!!

nice one Jet G.....you are right on the money... i second the motion your intelligent analysis!

I hate my own prediction on this fight, because I hate to see Pacquiao lossing. But Stop, Look and Listen.
Never was it known that manny defeated by same boxer coming from one country. He was stop by only three fighters from the Philippines, Thailand and Mexico. It never happened again.Ricky came from England.Believe you me, History repeats.Manny will fall. Think about it
Philippines, Thailand, Mexico and then........England..NO more no less.

If Manny is not yet at his best during the dela hoya fight then I could see a knockout between 3 to 5 rounds over the Hitman. It could also be much earlier than that if Hatton still uses his old style and techniques.

for ihro the 1st loss of Pac is when he is 16-17 yrs old agaist torrecampo.he was kockout not by a headshot buy by a body punch. a 16 yr old against a fully matured man at 24. then in his 2nd loss against the thai, he is overweight and needed to lose 4lbs on weigh in schedule.if you watch the fight, Pacman is not fightng back because he has no stamina to fight because of dehydration. i think the legitimate loss of Pac is only on the hands of Morales, who is a great boxer. where he also avenges 2 times. but if you watch the first fight and if there is 2 more rounds left, maybe the outcome is different. Hatton i think in the fight against collazo, he lose. on mayweather he was junked. and tommorow the best man with great heart and skills will win, no doubt its PACQUIAO, GO MANNY, GO MANNY!

Pacquiao by knock-out! I don't think this fight will go in distance. Hatton will be surprised on pac-man's power punches and speed. On sunday, its going to be a War! Pac-man will shocked the world! Go Manny!!!

Pacman wins easily, 30 seconds into the first round. Mark my word.

hatton may be in his best form today but are those oponents he tackle are they really the best of the best. He mais big and strong but bigger guys have slower footworks than and slower jabs...While PACMAN is aliitle bit smaller compare to HATTOnN, PACMAN has the edge of hunger for more , if HATTOn works in brawl type match, PACMAN is use to it he have a big heart to use as a weapon for HATTON.Im sure hatton will kiss the deck and will surely cannot get up with much blood on his face like DIAZ..PACMAN 8 round will win victory!

jason sardelis does'nt know anything about pacman's boxing history. please read on carlos' post regarding pacquiao's three defeats so you will be enlightened..

I correctly predicted Manny's last fight and his previous fight. And I am predicting it today, Hatton with a KO win. But, if he doesn't KO Manny then it will go the distance with Manny winning by decision. The great thing with this sport is that the fight can really change with one punch. Whether it's a body shot that breaks a rib or softens the midsection up or a KO blow to the chin. That being said, I see Manny's guard dropping carelessly at some point and him being tagged by Hatton.

I am Filipino and have boxed, so I love Manny and the joy that he brings to our people. But the boxer in me says Hatton can withstand the Pac-Man's barrage of punches to get in tight and catch him with a good one. Alot of people criticized Manny for his lack of Punching power in his earlier years when he was a lighter fighter. His punching power did improve, but is it enough for this class?

Again, my money is on Hatton, but my heart is with Pacquiao. Blessings to both fighters.

What the hell is wallace mathews talking about??? Mayweather
won that fight because of the referee's constant interference. Anyone
who watched the Mayweather fight could see that it was spoiled by
the ref constantly pulling hatton up and stopping him from getting in
close and doing what he does.

If hatton gets the chance to get inside and fight a tight fight then he
will have the better of pacquiao no doubt!!!

Marcus Henry stated that Pacquiao ' is not nearly as fast as Mayweather '

Huh ?

It is very close, but Mayweather rarely throws more than 2 or 3 punches at a time, and doesn't have an in & out style like Manny does.

It is definitely debatable as to who is faster, but to say that Pacquiao is 'not nearly as fast' is just idiotic.

friends.we will not base on the previos fight or what so ever. because they know already the there weakness.lets just see what happen this is really go fight. but for me im with pacman coz im pinoy bro

i think pacquiao will win this fight because of her handspeed, endurance, agility and stamina pacquiao is also a energized boxer he can punch and punch until the last round.i think hatton has a blody face after the knock out and this........pacquiao will win i 8 to10 round.......and this is my last word go pacman mabuhay ang mga pinoy

I'm not on Manny Pacquiao's side or Ricy Hatton's side but if The Pac-Man did won this Boxing Match this will be his chance to prove to the World that he did'nt defeated Oscar De La Hoya through sheer luck but he is one of the Best Boxers there ever is. And if The Hitman won this Boxing Match this will be his chance to renew his rivalry with Floyd Mayweather Junior.

i know pacquiao will win in this fight....GOD is always there in his fight and also his countrymen to support....

GOODLUCK and MORE POWER.....

manny...manny...manny will win....

i'm not fun of boxing... since then i found out his a good boxer and also his my countrymen in part of mindanao....and i'm very proud of that we have a good boxer...

wishing you all the best in your fight GOD BLESS....

GOD is GOOD manny pacquiao will WIN....

what i can say to manny has a chance to win the match for he is hungrier than his foe. And he has the ability to win because of his big heart and will to win. He trained harder as any boxer that i know. He did lot of lots trainings w/c everyone haven't done before. And a good coach and boxing technician w/c been pick as the coach of the year. He has the perfect chance to win this fight.
As the years come along manny has develop and improve his skills in any deparment and still improving a lot that that i didn't see from mr hatton or any boxer today. And i must admit hatton has power. But the question is............ can hatton sustain fighting the quickness, the strength and the power that manny have until the last round? But for manny his strength, his power and his quickness in this fight will not slow down to much.
This will be an awesome fight and to be choosen the fight of the year.
Manny has a gift and his talent to box w/c he develop more and furnish to perfection. I said this because, I did follow manny career. He develop more than any other fighter and a skill boxer. He never been intimidated with bigger opponent. Manny will win because he loves to box and he crafted his own style and a good coach technician, freddie roach. And have gifted talent which molded to develop to perfection. That's why he is great boxer today.

On my prediction hatton will be KO 8 or 9 rounds. If it is split decision it will be still manny.

pa yung laman ni many at hatton

mayweather talks too much! he just hope and pray that hatton will win or else, it will be just a big slap on his face! God bless PACMAN!!! We believe and support you!!! Mabuhay!!!!

MANNY WINS BY K.O. IN THE SECOND!

Mayweather Sr, you'd be forgiven of your cockiness and arrogance if you will kiss Pacquiao and Roach's asses ... Oh, I really feel sorry for the Brits. Their barks were worse than their bites.. They were only good at making noises before the fight but once the fight started, it's the Filipinos who will override them. There's not always strength in numbers

Hatton what an ugly fight two rund thats all you can give to the million viewer what a shame...SHAME on you Hatton the briton sand bag.

If I were you Hatton, I'd knock your trainer Gayweather Sr out to oblivion for making you look so stupid.
Gayweather Sr. – F** Y**! You cocky M**F**, thrash-talking Manny and Roach like that. Your man didn’t even give your Brit fans a run for their money – all 25k strong of them. Shame on you Gayweather Sr! Next time you’ll do well not to talk big every time you open your wide cocky mouth.

My predictions are correct MANNY PACMAN PACQUIAO WINS Successfully!!! In a Flash..... Filipino Rules!!!!

Get ready for a furious Fight MAYWEATHER JR. You are next in line...MANNY PACMAN PACQUIAO will eat you up!!! Hehehe.. All you boxer commentators who made a wrong predictions most specially for the following known boxers like Bernard Hopkins, Shane Mosley, Oscar Delahoya, all you guys proved it WRONG...

We're Proud of you PACMAN.. Eat theme ALL...

Many were wrong about how this fight would end but the person who made the biggest mistake was Floyd Mayweather Sr. He not only underestimated Manny Pacquiao but he over-estimated his fighter and most importantly he over estimated his ability as a trainer. He aslo talks too much and is an embarassment to the sport!!!!

No wonder his own son doesn't speak to him!

GO HATTON!!! GO HATTON!!! ...GO HOME!!!

GO HATTON!!! GO HATTON!!! ...GO HOME!!!

floyd mayweather sr!??!!? wer u at?!?!!? ...lets hear u talk now!!!

floyd mayweather sr!??!!? wer u at?!?!!? ...lets hear u talk now!!!

Now Ricky Hatton is falling down, all i want now is to see Pacman left hand into the pretty face of trash talking bastard Floyd Mayweather Jr.

HEY boxing analyst are so funny really as in some of you keep saying hatton can beat pacquiao because he is stronger? LOL look waht happend 2nd round knock out nomatch for manny.

NOW UVE TASTED PAC MANS PUNCH DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE HE IS THE BEST OF THE BEST OF ALL TIME BOXERS!

AGAIN DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE PACMAN EVERYTIME HE WIN U ALWAYS GOT A REASON???
THE TRUTH IS HE IS JUST THAT GOOD AND POWERFUL NOTHING ELISE NOTHING TO EXPLAIN NOTHING TO REASON!

If there are persons who should end their carreer, they are Marcus Henry and Wallace Matthew... whoooo, what a predictions.. Hatton gone in six minutes. nO one predicted the outcome except for roach who missed just 8 seconds of 3 rounds. Ever humble Manny deserve all the praises. Marquez is trying to catch manny and hes right in fighting Mayweather first so to get more money. Manny should fight both Floyd Mayweather Jr and Sr combine.

Manny Pac Man is undoubtedly the best in boxing right now. Everyone wants to fight him because he is the best not to mention he commands the highest prize money. Marquez is to eager to fight him because he wants the same accolades bestowed to the likes of Morales and Barrera which until now eluded him. Well good luck to all boxer who wants to fight him because he is more of an all around boxer than before.
