Andre Berto scores decision over Juan Urango

It was a win-win tonight for promoter Lou DiBella. His undefeated WBC welterweight champion Andre Berto (25-0, 19 KOs) retained his title with a one-sided twelve round unanimous decision over Juan Urango (21-2-1, 16 KOs) Saturday on HBO's Boxing After Dark. Berto, the son of Haitain immigrants, won by scores of 117-111, 118-110, 118-110.

Also, in a mild upset, in a WBC junior middleweight title-eliminator, former welterweight champion Kermit Cintron (31-2-1, 27 KOs) (also promoted by DiBella) beat previously unbeaten junior middleweight contender Alfredo Angulo (15-1, 12 KOs) over twelve rounds.
