1. PACMAN fought elite/HOF fighters, PBF fought; Baldomir, Gatti, Manfredy, Corrales (his best opponent), Judah (could have won had he not run out of gas..Yes, the Pacman fought quality opponents. Floyd is a self-proclaimed pound for pound king!!!

2. PACMAN challenged champions and won convincingly/annihilated most of them in moving up different weights. PBF? only won by running, in the ropes, being defensive and waits for his opponents to make mistakes to score points and then wait for opening for a knock out if possible.

3. Similar to no.2. Pacman's style is aggressive, exciting. He is there to seek and destroy. For Floyd? like i said, he waits in the latter rounds, wait for "openings".

I cannot believe I am saying this (because he was very strong at the lower weight classes), but this weight class looks to be Manny's best. He is just as fast but stronger. And to think there is still room for improvement is mind boggling. I wouldn't be surprised if Fraud I mean Floyd Mayweather Jr. ducks him.

As far as the future fights for Pacquiao, I can only see him fight either Mayweather or Cotto. Although he probably still has a lot of years ahead of him, Roach will probably advise Manny to retire after a couple more fights. I say this because Roach said this and Manny agreed. Only big names for big money are the only fights in the future. Bradley and Clottey are definitely out of the question even though it will be very entertaining. Mosely is a long shot and Marquez will have to win against Floyd (doubt he will beat him) for them to fight.
If I were to chose though, I would have Manny fight Floyd at the end of this year then Cotto in 2010. Then retire healthy as one of the all time greats.

I really don't know if you are a good boxing observant but it looks like that it took for you so long on why is Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez are so effective and so great.

I have watched and studied every legends in the ring and I understand why they are effective and that is because of their STYLE.

Yes, it is the style that makes them great! But style alone is not effective without HEART and DETERMINATION. Look closely and you will have no doubt in your mind on who are these greats in every generation.

If in the future pacman dismantles floyd and then jmm III again, there's no one that exist that can match with pacquaio anymore. The next thing is that to experiment pacman with 1 or 2 weight division difference above pacman's weight, I think pacman still has a very good chance to knockout that 2 div higher. It's analogous to chagaev vs valuev "david vs goliath" thing.
