I'm really, really sick of Roger Clemens
In the wake of all these stories of his infidelities, Roger Clemens apologized to the Houston Chronicle but - surprise, surprise - he didn't say what he was apologizing for.
Oh, and he again denied using performance-enhancing drugs. Tell it to the Republicans on Congress. This saga jumped the shark two months ago.

We now call this the Giambi apology. It is very useful when husbands know their wives are upset about something they've done, but no one says what it is.
The Giambi apology is far cheaper than the Bryant apology, otherwise known as the "bling is the thing" apology.
The Giambi apology is the steriods era's great positive contribution to American culture.
