Still time to vote on Chicago Norm, tell me about Spam

Election

Please comment on the following:

Should we keep Chicago Norm on full-time now that Baumbach is back?

Also, still waiting for someone to tell me what Spam tastes like.

Thanks.

While I have greatly enjoyed Chicago Norm's contributions, I think two bloggers at one time is the right number. Norm should fill in every time one of you goes on vacation, just like Joan Rivers used to do when Johnny took a week off.

Okay, here's the final word on The Final Score and Chicago Norm ...

Doubtless Chicago Norm is entertaining in his own way, and I give him points for remembering important Islanders anniversaries, countering Baumbach's obvious anti-Islander bias ... oh, sorry, I was channeling Islanders505 for a moment. :) And I think he'd agree with me that Chicago Stadium was a much better environment in which to watch a hockey game than the United Center, although a much worse place in which to park your car (now you just park it on the footprint of the old barn). But I want more than Chicago-New York comparisons. It isn't the Second City without reason (and trust me, out here I'm surrounded by Chicago refugees). Give him an Andy Rooney-type assignment, with the occasional guest appearance. Like much else from Chicago, I like him in measured doses.

And that's the final word. Perhaps I need to trademark "The Final Word."
