Next Stapes is going to call for Carl Pavano to return to the Yankees. And Stephon Marbury to return to the Nets. And Plaxico Burress to sign with the Jets.

As far as calling for Avery's return to the Rangers?
All I can say as an Islander fan is that I would hate to see Avery in a Ranger jersey again.
I'm with 505 on that one. A POS like Avery only makes a positive contribution to a team when the team leaders buy into and defend his antics. He had that last year from Jagr, Shanahan, et al, and he never had it anywhere else. I just want him to go as far away as he possibly can.
