The last time I covered a Knicks game...
I'm at MSG covering tonight's Knicks-Blazers game. I used to be big into the NBA before going on the Yankees beat in 2004 and losing touch with the rest of the sports world for a while.
Anyway, I looked this up out of curiosity. The last time I covered a Knicks game (I believe) was Jan. 2, 2004. I'll have to confirm this in nexis, but don't have time right now. Here's who played for the Knicks that night in a 104-99 loss to the Bulls.
Shandon Anderson
Dikembe Mutombo
Keith Van Horn
Kurt Thomas
Charlie Ward
Antonio McDyess
Moochie Norris
Howard Eisley
Othella Harrington

FWIW,
Last time I was at a Knicks game Dave Debusschere was sitting in the red seats (pre-game-before the "gates" opened) shooting the breeze with us orange caps (Harry M vendors) while we all watch Henry Bibby practiced what would have been 3 point shots, if there was such a thing back then.
Just a little ancient history, from two time zones away.
