Ask Bob - Working with Len
How are you getting along with your new partner Len?

Len? I thought his name was Les! So far it has been very, very comfortable. We have both worked with a variety of people throughout the course of our broadcasting careers and as an analyst, I can say that Len is the perfect play-by-play guy. He gives me plenty of opportunity to say what I need to say, he can carry the telecast if necessary, and I think he's just warped enough that we're going to get along great this year.

Hi Len and Bob,
Today is my girlfriends birthday. #23 her name is Courtney and she is a beautiful redhead. It would really help me out if you could give her a birthday shout out if you get a chance. We've been watching the cubbies this week and now they have come to play just for her...
Thanks,

Hey guy's! I'm the biggest Cubs fan X infinity!! I really like both of your guy's broadcasting. You talk, especially Bob, about the fundamentals and intricacies of the game, the numerous things going on in any type of situation, and just bring a great understanding to fans watching, drawing viewers into the game even closer and makes, at least me, much more attentive, alert, and informed.
I just wanted to point out how great Felix Pie's attitude and play is!!!!!! He brings with himself, everyday, an enthusiasm and excitement... an ora that just flows/pours out and into all of the other players, and even into me! He puts 110% into everything he does on that field and like Soriano, usually always has a smile on his face. THAT'S TRUE BASEBALL!!
From a lover of the game...AND THE CUBS!

Dear Len and Bob:
That barrel of the bat gave me chills, I watched live when Rick Helling got impaled by a bat in his non-pitching arm when he was pitching for the Nashville Sounds. Glad Jason is okay, Here's a link. Thanks.

Bob and Len,
Oh my gosh!
Loved your play on Chicago song titles when Citera sang the 7th. I was hopin'
you'd say, it's not 25 or 6 to 4, it's 12 - 4 Cubs!

Can you please wish my mom
Kay Ogdon from Cape Coral, Fl a "Happy 80th Birthday" sometime this week on a WGN broadcast if possible. This is the only time she can see the game. It's Sept 6th.
Oh--by the way--You guys are the best thing that happened to the Cubs. I can't stand it when the other teams announcers are doing the game. I have to hit the MUTE button on most of them. What is wrong with these guys--they are sooo boring and monotone. GO CUBS!!!

When was the last triple play for the Cubs, and has there ever been one in a World Series.

If Marmol had given up a run after Z had been taken out, was Z still responsible for the run (on his ERA)?

Hey Len and Bob
I got a quick question: When does the pitcher get a new ball, and what does it depend on. I've seen balls roll in dirt and were still thrown to the pitcher so I have no explanation I can come up with. Thanks

Hi Len and Bob!
Today is my cousin Christina Rodriguez's graduation from the University
of Illinois in Champagne, Urbana. Next year she will attempt to receive
her Masters in Journalism and we just want to let her know how proud of
her we are! Could you please make an announcement on television to
congratulate her because she is a huge Cubs fan and this would mean soooo
much to her. Thank you very much.

Hi Len and Bob -
My husband, Terry Trone, is going to turn 34 on July 11th and he is a huge fan of the Cubs and you guys. Could you please wish him a happy birthday on July 11th during the Cubs/Giants game? He's such a Cubs fan that he rattled off the names of the "Animal Infield" the other day when asked by a more seasoned Cubs fan. I was very impressed. Thanks a ton!
