Game Notes For Sunday

*Happy Mother's Day to all.

*Carlos Zambrano (2-1, 4.23) takes the mound for the Cubs today hoping to end their seven-game losing streak. Zambrano is looking for his first career win against Philadelphia. He will be opposed by righthander Brett Myers (2-1, 1.34)for the Phillies on a warm, breezy day in Chicago. Opponents are hitting just .192 against Myers this year.

*Derek Lee is 7/13 lifetime vs. Myers with 2 HRs. During his 18-game hitting streak, Lee is hitting .455 (30-for-66)

*Jim Belushi sings the 7th inning stretch today.

*On May 8, 1973, Cubs coach Ernie Banks became the first African-American to manage during a major league game. When Cubs manager Whitey Lockman was ejected in the third inning, Banks took over for the rest of the game and the Cubs beat San Diego 3-2.
