AAA - Iowa Cubs (41-47)
*Iowa resumes play today against Omaha.
*Cubs closer Jermaine Van Buren was the lone Iowa player to see action in the Pacific Coast League All-Star Game. He struck out one batter in 0.2 innings pitched.
AA- West Tennesseee Diamond Jaxx (10-9)
*West Tenn resumes play tomorrow against the Mississippi Braves after the All-Star Break.
*Three Diamond Jaxx players appeared in the Southern League All-Star Game last night.
*The Diamond Jaxx were part of the North All-Stars which won 12-5.
*1B Casey McGehee went 1-for-5 with a 3-run homer, SS Buck Coats was 2-for-5 with an RBI, and right-hander Andy Shipman gave up 2 runs on 2 hits in 1.0 inning pitched.
*Seven players from the Diamond Jaxx were named to the Northern Division All-Star team for the Southern League:SS Buck Coats, 3B Casey McGehee, outfielders Matt Murton and Felix Pie, and right-handed pitchers Talley Haines, Ricky Nolasco and Andy Shipman.
