Good Guys Wear Black?
Working with Len & Bob is a daily adventure. They're great to be around, always well-prepared, and best of all, ready to laugh at a moment's notice. Yesterday, for only the second time in their tenure together, both showed up in matching WGN Sports shirts - Pittsburgh black to be exact. (Kudos and a shameless plug to our good friends at Ashworth who take such good care of us.)
Due to the shifting winds, it turned cold so Len put on his jacket on, but not before getting a little bit of abuse in the booth.

I think it was fuuny when they wore balck wgn shirts on tv it was funny beacuse they are funny on tv also they have good comments about the cubs.

Ha! Loved to see Len practicing his bit before going on air. Reminds us that broadcasting is a job, after all. Not everything comes tripping off the tongue with little effort of the broadcasters part.
Wonder if BB needs to practice his bit every now and again. Or is he just a fount of knowledge, with bits of bball insights hanging around up there just waiting for the right moment. :)

HEY.... did Jacque Jones go to the MOISES ALOU school of base-running????????? What's the deal with this guy????? We can't afford ANY mistakes like that. Tonight reminds me of all of last year...... CAN'T GET RUNNERS HOME FROM SCORING POSITION, POOR BASERUNNING, etc.... Oh.. it's now 5-1, time for the PINK STUFF.
