High Pods
Welcome to Len & Bob's Podcast, sponsored by AT&T Home Turf, where our announcers take a few moments to talk about the Cubs and some slices of baseball life that can't be covered during the broadcast. As always, we have an interesting podcast for you which can be downloaded to your iPod or mp3 player in the audio format, or you can watch our the broadcast team via the video version. If you want, you can also call it up on your computer and enjoy it at your desk.
This week, Len & Bob were in Denver and took advantage of the locale to talk with public address announcer extraordinare Alan Roach. In addition, they spent some time discussing the four rookies in the Cubs rotation, Cesar Izturis, and the life of a minor leaguer who gets the call. As always, thanks for watching and listening to Len & Bob's weekly podcast and thanks to AT&T Home Turf.

The Hyundai player of the game... Carlos Zambrano/??????? THE GUY WALKED SEVEN HITTERS AND WAS LUCKY TO SURVIVE. Houston's inability to CASH IN was the difference. NEVIN was the player of the game. NO DOUBT. Who decides this stuff???

@ Mrs. Pat Meier:
Allow me to introduce you to your new best friend, Wikipedia, which has some answers for you. Here's the direct link:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bullpen
For those too lazy to read the article, here's the gist: "origin of the term bullpen is debated with no one theory gaining unanimous, or even substantial, prevalence over another". The site then gives 7 possible origins for the term.
Enjoy!
