I really like "ol" Bob Brenley however, when he does the singing tomorrow, I'll be glad I have a mute button.lol
I'm a lifelong Sox fan butt, I'm not a Cubs hater.
What I wish is that Bob would take over on the Sox telecasts.

WI VETERAN: I'm a lifelong Sox fan butt
I don't even wanna know what that means.
WI VETERAN again: What I wish is that Bob would take over on the Sox telecasts.
You're about to get Steve Stone -- is that not good enough for you?

ROOT ROOT FOR THE ???????
I felt totally disrespected last night that the Cubs organization allowed Bob Uecker to sing "Take me out to the ball game" in a different version. This is Harry Caray's house and it's OUR CUBS NATION HOUSE. I think that people can sometimes go too far. The Cubs organization shouldn't allow singers at NO time to sing it in a different way. Just like they won't allow singers to disrespect opponents teams and umpires that can not make a good call.
Yours truly!

Gotta agree with #1 Loyal Cub Fan! That was just dumb of Bob Uecker to change the words! Why is he asked to sing. Would Bob or Len or Ron do that at any other park?

I'm at a loss for words with what Uecker did. I have seen the Uecker's and the Lasorda's of the world come into Wrigley (our house) and put their teams name in the 7th inning stretch. I've had it with them. This is a BIG issue with me. Do you think this would happen at Fenway or Yankee stadium when they play each other...no way! Disrespected is putting it mildly. If they can't find someone to sing..let Ron Santo sing them all...he bleeds Cub blue. I'm personally invested in the Cubs...emotionally and financially to see this happen. The word must go out to the Cub organization that this is insulting to the fan base and NO EMPLOYEE of another team must be invited to sing the seventh inning stretch. Cub fans must be heard...make some noise people. This isn't cute or funny so let's stop acting like it was.
