I think the cubs can play good baseball against the dodgers beacuse ted lilly needs not to give up any home runs in the game tonight so he has to be keeping the ball way down tonight beacuse other wise the dodgers are going to get on him early in the game.
go go cubs!!!

Dear Len & Bob --

Why do you think that the Cubs have such difficulty putting teams away and building big leads?

I think the Cubs' hitters seem to refuse to shorten up their swings with runners on base and more importantly with runners in scoring position. Bad situational hitting.

What do you think?

And, say hi to Bob Vorwald for me. Go Cubs and Go Cats!

Okay - Maybe I should post every night!

Go Cubs! And go Cats!

A great game tonight with everyone contributing to the 8-2 win. We needed this one badly since the Brewers are hot again. I have a good feeling re the Card series but worry about the Pirates. Both Pirates and Reds give the Cubs trouble. Can't afford to let up at this late stage of the season with everything on the line.Lilly is a smooth operator and should be considered the staff "Ace".
