Take A Number

The numbers don't always add up. The Diamondbacks have given up more runs than they have scored this season, but still had the best record in the National League. One reason for their success is a National League-best 32-19 record in one-run games. Arizona did hold a 4-2 season advantage over the Cubs.

Buckle up - this is going to be fun. This is what every team has been working for all year and only eight get the chance to go forward. Looks like I will work the Yankees/Indians series for TBS, then hopefully get to see the Cubs in the National League Championship Series.

Enjoy the ride!

NICE JOB THIS YEAR BOB THANKS THIS IS NEXT YEAR GO CUBS GO.

I am in complete aw, by how well the Rockies have done. However it is to no surprise that they had it in them. I was at the game when the Rockies came back in the 9th from a 9 to 3 to tie it up. We did end up winning, but regardless of their organization they do have chances. It will be a shame we will have to end those chances when we face them :)

Go Cubs Go!!!

a first for MLB, but we are Cubs fans and it is clear we do not give up easy.

Oh and I know this is random, but I heard a few times you were saying Glenbrook North. I was wondering if one of you guys went to that school. I too am a Glenbrook North alumni.

Bob, you're rooting for the Cubs over the d-backs, right?

Bob I have a question for you and Len, are you guys going to be back next yr?! I think you guys should tell WGN to televise every Cubs game tht isnt on FOX or ESPN because there are Cubs fans all over the country where as there are only Sox fans on the SouthSide! I also have a question for you, I kno you work for the Cubs but since there playing the DBacks who are you rooting for? Because I kno you were there manager for a long time and won a ring there...also if the Cubs do make it to the NLCS are you allowed to be a color guy since you work for them?

BB: Why TBS doesn't give you the Cubs/D-Backs series is beyond me.

I'm sure I speak for many by saying FANTASTIC job this season on WGN. Although I'm obviously highly biased, you and Len are the best combo in the booth in any sport.

Quick question: Might you consider managing on the North Side after Lou wins multiple Fall Classics and then steps down on top?

Go Cubs!

I hope the cubs can go to arizona with allot of confience beacuse they can win games as a team they never give up so they can sweep these diamond backs beacuse zambrano can get a win so the cubs can go with allot of pride for the team. lou pinella has given his team allot of confience too so they can play with good batting offense as well. go go cubs alll the way!!!!

CONGRATS on getting the TBS job even if it is the Yankees. They had their choice of a lot of guys who could do the job and they picked you .........that's great and you do a great job.......When Stone left I didn't think anybody could fill his shoes but you changed my mind.
NICE GOING AND
GO CUBS GO

Bob -

Wish you were calling the games on TBS. Of all people, you're probably the best to call a Cubs - Diamondbacks series.
