One of the ways players keep themselves occupied during a long season or spring camp is to play jokes on one another. Or in the case of this spring, on the strength and conditioning coordinator. Tim Buss, one of the best in the business, had been driving...let's just say an older model car...and some players decided to have a little fun with him, but with a great payoff. So, they essentially smashed the car to bits without his knowledge and then told him that someone had
mysteriously ruined his car. You can imagine his initial reaction.
And to add to it, apparently, his wife actually owned the car, which made Tim's reaction even worse. So, after allowing him to stew a little bit about the news (he had to be wondering which player he had upset, right? I mean, who would do something like that?), they told him to go outside the weight room to check out something. It was, yup, a brand new car. Just another fun day in the big leagues...
