I decided to watch the game on ESPN last night. I was especially pleased to see Orel Hershiser in the booth. I met Orel in December in the poker room at the Bellagio while out in Vegas for the Hatton-Mayweather fight. Orel is a first class human being, and an A+ announcer.

ESPN and its announcers usually do a good job of making fools of themselves on the air when discussing teams that are not from Bos or NY, and last night was no exception. Phillips and Schulman got into a discussion about how the Cubs are packing more fans into Wrigley this year. Orel has to tell the both of them that new seats were added down the 3rd base line. Then Schulman pipes in "did you hear how much the new Yankee tickets behind home plate are gonna cost". I guess it could've been worse. They could've made us endure the egotistical Joe Morgan. Joe Morgan is the best, just ask him, he'll tell you all about how great he is.
