Game Notes For Wednesday vs. Brew Crew

*The Cubs look for home win No. 11 on Wednesday. Last season they didn’t capture their 11th home victory until June 3. *Cub leadoff hitters this season are batting just .195 - the worst in baseball. The Brewers #1 hitters are 3rd from the bottom at .202. *At .325, Geovany Soto has the 2nd highest batting average of any starting catcher in MLB after Cleveland's Victor Martinez (.364). *Aramis Ramirez is hitting .389 in his last 10 games with 3 homers and 12 RBI.

First of all... the chemistry between Len and Bob has been awesome this year. Each telecast has been informative, as well as fun. And the CREW has done a fabulous job getting us fans "inside" the game and catching all the action. Now... can someone explain to me why we aren't BUNTING more for base hits with the speed guys in the order?? I've seen FELIX show bunt ONCE. And THERIOT?? Nope. JOHNSON? Nope. Speed shows up in many ways and I would have liked to see the team make BEN SHEETS field his position last night coming off a layoff. I did like the patience the team showed and their ability to comeback, but we need to utilize our seemingly wealth of speed more. Don't you think???
