Hey guys, I'm delighted that you feel so optimistic about the Cubs 'great record', most of it accumulated against very poor opposition.

But then again, you're paid to be rah-rah guys for the Cubs and you do a great job of promoting this poor side. The reality is that we're currently in the midst of another losing streak and I fear it will only get worse. For it appears that our beloved Cubbies have returned to their bad habits, reminding me of those sad bad days of old.

Head of that group is Alflubbo Sorry-Clowno. He's currently hitting .164 after making another 4 feeble outs again today. What is that guy making? Something like $143mil, and we're stuck with that guy for another 7 years. Great, just great! We're now 0-1 since his return. It makes me sick to watch this guy 'play'.

Then there was some bonehead baserunning, brought to new highs today by The Riot and Fukedome. Poor fielding and lackluster situational hitting seems to have cropped back into the teams play too.

But my biggest concern is our mediocre pitching staff. While I must tip my hat to Carlos Z, Marmol and Dempster, who have been excellent so far this season, most of the rest of these overpaid bozos just ain't good enough.

And we can only look forward to the Cards' series when the Cubs will feature their batting practice lobbing lefties, Terrible Ted Lilly and Rileable Rich Hill. I can hardly wait!

However, bad as our starters are, the bullpen's even worse. Horrible Howry, Worse Wurtz and Wild Wood have just not been up to snuff. They appear to be over-the-hill, ragarm headcases, whose control and velocity, what little they have anyways, seems to have left them. Maybe some other team would be foolish enough to take them. Say, Texas seems to need some pitching! How about a trade with them?

Thus, it's no surprise that today's Bonehead Award goes to Kerry Wood, who's gone to new lengths to find ways to blow games. Haven't you brought enough suffering to us loyal Cub fans over the years Kerry? You really know how to let us down.

But it seems that I'm not alone here and that there are REAL Cubs fans who booed pathetic performances by Wild Wood and Sorry-Clowno. Good job guys. If we fans expect to win a World Series, we cannot tolerate poor play. Cudos to all of you who booed these bums today.

Then again, maybe we're wrong and these guys will lead us to World Series glory! Nah! I hope I am wrong, but I doubt it. Can anybody say 101 years of agony? Cubs Forever...BAD!!

A Ray of Painful Reality

I take back my negative comments on Reed Johnson, he shut my mouth on the field and at the plate. Our pitching has alot of holes in it... Kerry Wood my god man how did you blow that save today? I still believe Leiber will end up in the starting rotation nearing the All Star break. Soriano and Pie just look plain awful at the plate. Every one else is looking good. Koske Fukudome, what a talent!

What a bunch of lilly livered Kool-Aid drinkers....you don't give a game away up 2 runs to the team who you CAN"T beat in your own darn park!!! PATHETIC!!!! This it's early excuse is just that...it's for *&%^%&**&^%...You win in April at home so you don't bust your butt in Sept....tired of all you pansy A** Cub fans!!!! NO EXCUSE!!!!
