Shaving Face?
(There was chatter on the air last night about rekindling this promise if the Cubs win 10 in a row. They are at 8 right now. Here's the original post from April 14, 2005. Let's see what happens tonight and we'll get an update from the boys tomorrow if the Cubs win. Bob V)

Vince, we talked about this briefly on the air the other day. Bob and I accept your challenge, though his mustache will probably grow back long before we see any darkening on my upper lip. Let's hope the Cubs can put a string together to make this interesting.

You definitely look a lot better without the mustache, but don't change anything until we lose! When you've got a streak going, you don't change anything!!!
BTW - let the guys know that I think winning their 10th in a row would be a great birthday present for me.

9 straight is ureal but what's the deal with using 7 arms for a nine inning game? 5 innings for a starter is pittiful.

That picture you guys put up last night was quite possibly the funniest thing I've ever seen. I busted out laughing and it continued for at least the next half inning. PLEASE put that up on the blog, whether you guys go through with it or not!

Seriously, if I have to hear one more thing about mustaches, or facial hair, or the lack thereof and your silly little bet while I'm TRYING to watch the game I'm going to MUTE you and turn on the radio. Aren't there some interesting factoids about ball speed or hot dog vendors or anything relating to the actual game you could talk about??? That would be great.

You know... the original post did say for 2005. If you are looking for a loophole in this, it does not say anything about past that season.
