The 10 finalists’ auditions will be posted on www.cubs.com on Monday, September 10. Fans will again have the opportunity to view each audition, learn more about each finalist and vote for their favorite.
Chosen from a group of more than 2,700 participants, the 10 finalists in the Ultimate 7th Inning Stretch Competition will audition in front of a celebrity panel on Monday for their chance to sing the stretch at an upcoming Cubs game in front of 40,000 fans.
Celebrity judges include: Dutchie Caray, Steve Cochran - WGN Radio, Mark DeRosa,Dave Kaplan - WGN Radio, Digger Phelps, Ryan Theriot, and Billy Williams.
The remaining entrants are Marciann Braun (Arlington Heights, IL), Carly Butler (Oswego, IL), Dustin Eglseder (Guttenberg, IA), Rich Kienzl (Hammond, IN), Peter Mastro (Carol Stream, IL), Matt Shepardson (Bolingbrook, IL), Lindsey Studnicki (Normal, IL), Elinore Triner (Palatine, IL), Eric Wollam (Bradford, TN), and Dick Wyninger (Urbana, IL).
The winner will be chosen based on the scores from the celebrity judges and online voting. The results will be announced in a pre-game ceremony on Saturday, September 22 at Wrigley Field and the winner will be awarded the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to sing “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” during the 7th inning stretch of that Cubs game.

The Cubs search for a fan to sing the 7th inning stretch kicked off with auditions at Wrigley Field today.
Former Cub All-Star reliever Lee Smith was at Wrigley Field on Friday as guest conductor for "Take Me Out To The Ballgame."
Juan Pablo Montoya, Reed Sorenson, and David Stremme were at Wrigley Monday night to do the honors for "Take Me Out To The Ballgame".
One of our favorite Cub fans was on hand to sing the stretch Sunday - the irrepressible Jeff Garlin.

WGN Radio's Steve Cochran led the crowd in Friday's version of "Take Me Out To The Ballgame".

Great to see Chicago's John Mahoney at the game on Friday and he was magnificent with his rendition of "Take Me Out To The Ballgame".
The Fray stopped by the broadcast booth on Thursday to sing the 7th inning stretch and did a bang-up job.
Cub legend Ernie Banks led the crowd in a raucous rendition of "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" on Tuesday night.

It was Illinois Day at Wrigley Field on Saturday. All that orange couldn't help the Cubs win, but football coach Ron Zook did lead the crowd in singing "Take Me Out To The Ballgame".
The only bright spot of a brutal evening at Wrigley Field was diehard Cub fan William Petersen's rendition of "Take Me Out To The Ballgame."
