Eagles sign Kimo
It didn't take long for Kimo von Oelhoffen to find work.
A day after being released by the Jets, von Oelhoffen agreed to a one-year deal with the Eagles.
To make room on the 53-man roster, the Eagles placed DT Ian Scott on the minor Injured Reserve list.
A sixth-round pick of the Bengals in '94, von Oelhoffen (6-4, 299) has spent time with the Cincinnati (1994-99), the Pittsburgh Steelers (2000-05) and the Jets (2006).
The 14-year veteran has recorded 395 tackles, 26.5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles and 7 fumble recoveries in 192 career games. He has played in 105 consecutive regular and post season contests. His most productive season came in 2003 with the Steelers, when he tallied 40 tackles and 8 sacks. He was also a member of the Steelers team that won the 2005 Super Bowl.
