Don't feel sorry for Vinny Testaverde
Ok, so he didn't get the backup gig in Arizona after Matt Leinart went down for the rest of the season with a collarbone injury. (Tim Rattay got the nod). 
But don't you fret over Vinny T. This football thing is strictly a hobby, and has been for years. Testaverde has become fantastically wealthy over the years, parlaying his NFL income into a financial empire. He has invested wisely - getting in on the ground level with the Outback Steakhouse chain long before it became popular. The picture you see here is of his mansion he has put on the market for nearly $7 mil.
So playing in the NFL is just a nice little side gig. We love the fact that he adores football so much and is still willing to play at age 43. But Vinny T. certainly doesn't need the bucks.
