T.O. on the shelf

There's almost no chance Cowboys receiver Terrell Owens plays in next weekend's regular season finale in Washington. Owens suffered what is being termed a high ankle sprain in last night's win over the Panthers, and he walked out of the locker room on crutches.

The Cowboys play the Redskins in a game that could decide homefield advantage in the playoffs, but with Terry Glenn almost ready to make it back from season-long knee problems, the Cowboys are expected to shut Owens down until the playoffs. That would give him three weeks to recover, since they've already clinched a first-round bye.

You did say TC would be back, right? Because if they lose at the Spicy Wings you will be made a liar.

Giants win, TC is coming back, and my reputation is safe for another few hours.

Can Green Bay have a mulligan? Good news, it's only regular season.
I thought this was the 2006 Packers.
I'm happy for the Giant fans. They have some good running backs. Still not sure why they threw so much the last two weeks with these good running backs.

Weird thought of the day: Cleveland and Minnesota both could have clinched today with a win. They both lose, and now they will be out of playoffs completely if TN and WA win next week. Oh who do TN and WA play next week? The #2 seed Indy Colts and the #1 seed Dallas Cowboys. Not so sure those two teams will be playing to win the game next week.
How quickly things change in the NFL...

Hope you didn't have to have an egg-white omelet on the way back from Buffalo. Or did you get to fly?

I will of course spend the next week in a state of bliss. The Pats and Colts won, the Bills lost. All is right in the world.

No egg whites this morning, but will try and get out of your favorite down in a little bit.

Delighted the NFL stars were aligned for you!

Where's my buddy Texas Packer now?

I guess he only comes around when the Pack wins!
