Just about to wrap up press conference on the Jets' announcement of PSL's, and here's some encouraging news, all things considered.
Unlike the Giants' plan, in which every seat will require the purchase of a personal seat license, the entire upper bowl of the new stadium will be PSL-free for Jets' games.
That's 27,000 seats that will not require a PSL. The average ticket prices will be between $95-$125 for those seats.
More details to follow ...

I got to give it Woody, nice gesture. Boland promised you'd have details. Now this is uncomfortable.
I guess that means 27,000 real fans will be attending NFL events in new jersey at least, but probably nowhere close to the field.
Bob: I give Woody Johnson and the Jets credit for finding a good way to handle the PSL debate. Their plan sounds similar to the plan the Eagles used when they opened the Linc a few years back. While some fans were upset about moving their seats to avoid paying a PSL, their still paying for the seats only. As far as Sandy's comment above, I don't think the fans will be that far from the action; at least that's the impression I get from the drawings I've seen on the new stadium's website. Besides, from going to the Vet to watch the Eagles for so many years, I always thought I got a better view of the game from my seats higher in the stadium than those from the lower portion.
