Browns fans ought to be ashamed of themselves
When quarterback Derek Anderson suffered a knee injury that will keep him out for the rest of the season, many Browns fans cheered loudly as he lay on the field during yesterday's home loss to the Colts.
It brought back memories of Jets' fans cheering when Chad Pennington got hurt last year against the Patriots.
In a word: despicable.
Shame on anyone who would cheer an injured player on any team.

I still insist we were cheering only when Chad GOT UP...
Since when did Browns' need an excuse to be ashamed of themselves?
(Just for you BnG).

Hope this works... :-)
Bob I sorta agree with you. I was in my brothers basement clapping when he got UP.
And if Michael Vick ever goes down, I will be whooping and holloring and barking very loudly!!
Outside of him though, I pretty much agree with you. But from watching the game, there weren't that many cheers when he went down.
I absolutely Richie G. can speak for my section...we clapped when he was getting up and that announcing the other way always annoyed me.
The michael vick, ron mexico comment:
Right on!
