Plaxico Burress is in deep ... but you knew that already
Really interesting story by our newsside folks on the Burress situation.

In the meantime, here's what happened yesterday.
Burress is supposed to be at Giants Stadium today to receive treatment for his injured hamstring and to have his gunshot wound examined.
Gut feeling: The Giants place Burress on injured reserve and rule him out for the season.
I could be wrong, and they could let the guy play. That would surprise me.
