Can we please stop this nonsense about Braylon Edwards?
His name keeps popping up on these lists of receivers as a potential replacement for Plaxico Burress in the event the Giants decide to dump him ... I mean, trade him ... or if Burress might not be available for next season because of continued legal problems.
My question is: why?
Why would you want a receiver who is potentially as big a head case as Burress, and one who led the NFL in drops last season?
Please. Stop. This is not the player the Giants need to target.
